be a fool

The dive instructor told us to make fools of ourselves under the water as it draws the seals attentions. it does work to some extent but their expression when they see you acting up isnt so unfamiliar.

Seals

After the first dive we moved to the other end of the island where the seal colony is. Montague island apparently has a male only colony. As sharks feed on young seals, apparently there is no shark problem here. Man these seals stink.

Grey Nurse 1

I only saw two grey nurses during the dive. Some of the other divers that went deeper ran into about 6 large nurses.

Narooma boat trip

Everyone on the boat to the island. The water was warm and crystal clear. Everyone was excited about the dive ahead.
