This bridge is located due south of Suita Freight Terminal. I'd been there twice or more during 2008/2009 and had either seen a DD51 hauling a container train or a dead-headed passenger EMU movement. Unfortunately my timetable does not show the latter, but the following should aid people in seeing freight movements in the area.
Note that the distance from Suita to the bridge is around 3.5km and then another ~30km to Kudara. The trip is timed at ~40mins, so I'd say that the train will cross the bridge within 5-10 minutes of leaving Suita and therefore recommend you simply use the departure time from Suita as a guide. The timing listed below for 'Yodogawa' is my estimate. Note that the 'North' timetables are reversed so that the times indicated are all centered around the bridge.

This freight line runs from Suita via Senrioka to the Osaka Freight Terminal in Settsu City. This happens to be located directly next to Osaka's Tokaido Shinkansen Depot. This freight line crosses the main Tokaido Line (not Shinkansen) via a large concrete viaduct that begins to the North-East of Senrioka station and continues all the way in a U-shape to the entrance of the freight depot.

All freight from Honshu to Shikoku must pass into Takamatsu first and then proceed west to Matsuyama if required. Due to this, the timetable is aligned against Takamatsu Terminal as that would be the best place for checking out the movements.

I cannot begin to tell you the value of your freight timetables for Japan. I am currently planning a month there with video cam and that stuff is of great use to me.

Rod,
Do take all of the private railway timetables with a grain of salt… not that they will run hideously late (and due to the JR feeders, not early either).. but they may not run at all. I’ve tried to reproduce the information as correctly as possible, but by the time you get there this may be out of date :)
Meanwhile, there should be a new Railway Freight Timetable available in Japan also, check out the specialty book stores in Akihabara, Tokyo if you can!
Otherwise, I did use the times above and apart from some services just not running (around Tomida), it was absolutely gold to know when trains would appear.

unfortunately ( in terms of getting a timetable ) I only read Hiragana and Katakana. I would be struggling with a book in Japanese. I will just have to take my chances and trust my usually good luck when I am in Japan.
