Nankai Tomytec 21000 Series

Still in use on Oigawa railway, this 2-car EMU has been enhanced. The Tomytec series is a cheap static-model range intended for use in dioramas. Fortunately both Tomy and Kato offer parts for these models to enhance them. These parts include motors, chassis', wheelsets, pantographs, etc... Once completed, the models often cost around double, but they are extremely realistic and great fun to build.

Modemo NT14

Initially just a decoder install, but it's just itching to have headlights. The album contains pictures of my dealings with a Modem NT-14 tram. Once apart, there is ample room to work with the internal components; unfortunately pretty much anything added inside is completely visible due to the large windows. Putting them back together is a challenge as the plastic panel windows like to collapse in and must be in their exact positions.
